Data Deletion
Last updated: May 28, 2026.
Your Right to Deletion
At Bh Recompen Media, we respect your privacy and recognize your rights under global data protection regulations. If you are a resident of the European Union, you have the right to erasure under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you are a California resident, you have the right to deletion under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Other jurisdictions may grant similar rights, and we honor requests made in good faith.
Your right to deletion is not absolute. We may retain certain data where required by law, where it is necessary to fulfill our obligations to you, or where retention serves legitimate business interests that outweigh your privacy interests. This policy explains what we delete, what we retain, and how to exercise your rights.
What Will Be Deleted
Upon receipt and verification of a valid deletion request, we will delete the following personal data associated with your account:
- Your account profile information (name, email address, phone number, billing address)
- Video metadata and viewer analytics tied to your account
- User behavior logs and activity history within our platform
- Marketing and communication preferences you've set
- Payment method tokens and subscription history (though transaction records are retained for legal reasons)
- Device identifiers and IP addresses associated with your account
- Any custom integrations, API keys, or webhook configurations linked to your account
We will also instruct third-party processors (CDN partners, analytics services, and cloud infrastructure providers) to delete copies of your data they hold on our behalf.
What May Be Retained
Certain categories of data may be retained beyond your deletion request, in accordance with US tax law, state regulations, and contractual obligations:
- Invoices and transaction records: We retain billing records, invoices, and payment history for seven years to comply with IRS requirements and state tax law. This data is retained in an aggregated, de-identified form where feasible.
- Legal holds: If your account is the subject of a legal proceeding, subpoena, or regulatory investigation, we may retain data as required by law or court order.
- Fraud prevention: We retain limited fraud-related data (device fingerprints, transaction flags) for up to two years to prevent abuse and unauthorized account access.
- Aggregated analytics: De-identified, aggregated data used to improve platform performance and security will not be deleted, as it contains no personally identifiable information.
- Backup copies: We maintain off-site backup systems for disaster recovery. Deleted data may persist in these backups for up to 90 days before being automatically purged.
How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Your request should include:
- Your full name and the email address associated with your Bh Recompen Media account
- A clear statement that you are requesting deletion of all personal data
- Your account ID (found in account settings) or the URL of your account dashboard
- The reason for your deletion request (optional but helpful)
- Proof of identity (copy of government-issued ID, last four digits of your phone number, or recent transaction receipt)
- Your preferred method of confirmation (email receipt recommended)
You may also submit deletion requests through your account settings under Privacy & Data, where we provide a web-based form. Either method is equally valid.
Verification of Identity
To prevent unauthorized deletion of accounts, we verify the identity of all deletion requesters. We will ask you to confirm ownership of the account through one or more of the following methods:
- Responding to a verification email sent to the account's registered email address
- Providing the last four digits of a credit card on file
- Answering security questions set up during account creation
- Providing a copy of a government-issued ID or passport
If we cannot verify your identity after two attempts, we may deny the deletion request. You may resubmit with additional documentation. This verification process typically takes 2–3 business days.
Timeline and Service Level Agreement
We are committed to processing deletion requests promptly:
- Acknowledgement: We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 7 calendar days and confirm the identity verification process.
- Completion: Upon successful verification, we will complete deletion of all applicable personal data within 30 calendar days.
- Backup purging: Off-site backup copies will be purged within 90 days as part of our standard disaster-recovery rotation.
- Confirmation: We will send you a written confirmation via email once deletion is complete, specifying what was deleted and what was retained (with justification).
Requests submitted during weekends or holidays will be timestamped on the next business day. In rare cases where deletion complexity requires additional time (e.g., large video libraries), we will notify you and provide an updated timeline.
Facebook / Meta-Connected Data Deletion
If you connected your Bh Recompen Media account to Meta/Facebook for analytics, audience insights, or marketing purposes, you may also request deletion through Meta's own data deletion portal. Meta maintains a separate copy of data shared with them and operates under its own privacy policies.
To request deletion of data Meta holds about you:
- Visit facebook.com/your-information/ (or facebook.com settings > Your Information) and select "Download Your Information" or "Delete Your Information"
- Follow Meta's verification process and request deletion of advertising data, custom audience data, and analytics shared with Bh Recompen Media
- Separately notify us at [email protected] that you have submitted a deletion request to Meta, so we can remove the connection from our systems
Deletion through Meta's portal is independent of your request to us, and timelines vary by Meta's processes (typically 30–90 days).
